Customs, VAT and delivery to the UK
American shops charge in US dollars. Your card provider converts to sterling and may add a non-sterling fee.
Up to £135, 20% VAT is normally charged at checkout. Above £135, VAT and any duty are collected on import, often with a courier handling fee.
Via a US address service, allow about 1 to 2 weeks once the parcel reaches the American warehouse.
Posting items back to the US is rarely cheap. Check sizes and the shop's returns policy first.
In the shop's own words
“your order was flagged for freight forwarding or shipping to an address or service provider that enables or allows foreign export or unlawful avoidance of sales tax”Quoted from the shop's official page.
Still want it?
This shop cancels orders sent to US address services, so sending it to one yourself may not work.
Fishisfast FastBuy (a buy-it-for-me service): you send the product link, and the Fishisfast team places the order with a US payment method, then adds it to your locker to ship abroad. Per Fishisfast's published terms the fee is US$5 + 7% of the order (max US$2,500 per order), and some shops that don't accept orders to the Fishisfast address carry an extra US$2. Fishisfast says some shops are incompatible and requests can be declined, so check before you count on it. How FastBuy works
Fishisfast's own shop list tags Nike with a FastBuy badge (source). That's Fishisfast's listing, not a guarantee for every item.
Some links on this site are affiliate or partner links, and we may earn a commission. This never changes our shop information. We have a business relationship with Fishisfast.
